For over 15 years winemaker John Thorpe has been crafting Longbush wines from the beautiful fruit produced in sunny Gisborne, New Zealand.

Through knowledge of the unique microclimates and soil types that exist in this beautiful region, John and his winemaking team have consistently produced wines of quality and expression - lively wines that resemble the youthful vibrancy of New Zealand, bursting with flavour.

Drawing their name from the Longbush QEII Reserve, Longbush has become a true family passion. John’s sister Anne is restoring the Longbush reserve, while his twin brother Rick produces Longbush and Waimata cheese just down the road.
